I get a Friend Invite on Facebook. I look, apparently we have a few friends in common, but still.. I don't just auto-add anyone. I have to know them at least a bit (even if it's geographically improbable that I will ever meet this individual).
I message this person, turns out he is the best friend of a good friend of mine. Oh ok.. "fine. I'll add you"
Within 24 hours, he's posting lots of comments, has used the Facebook "Poke" button at least 5x in a row. Constantly IMs me and
"can't wait to meet you" and "omg you're cute" and "here's my day... "
Um.. huh?
Finally, a mere 36 hours later I tell him to ease up, and that it takes me time to get to know someone and his reply "I'm not coming on to you dude". Oh, gosh.. I'm so sorry.. how did I ever misinterpret that?
He's since backed off. Now, while I do understand the instant flush of adrenaline which all of us at one time or another has experienced, at least temper it with a modicum of restraint. I'm not going to be instant BFFs with someone I've never met, or most likely won't meet anytime soon. I am grateful he took the hint.. at least for now :P
Chill the fuck out people.
We are 2 cranky gay men, living in SF. We get annoyed at many things. And thats why we're blogging, to let the world in on our grumpyness.

What Really Plugs My Hole
Hola,
Hello, I would like to introduce myself. My name is Shawn and before I start I would like to say a few words about myself. I will be the first to admit that at times I can be a bit unpleasant, ornery and downright rude, it is part of my wonderful charm. But this blog is an outlet for me to vent my frustrations with society that I see through my own eyes.
I am sure we all have had at least one horrible experience with Muni. I have had many and I would like to express how much I despise the agency and the people who operate it. Of all the cities I have visited that have public transit, I have to say Muni is the worst. I have many stories to share so I will tell them as they happen. This morning was a real hoot because I waited for almost 20 minutes for any inbound train to show up. Combo that with a packed train, rude and frustrated people and the smell of raw fish, it made for a wonderful morning commute. Took me 50 minutes to get from Church and Duboce to Montgomery station. The ride takes 8 minutes tops, but with waiting on the train, the slow ride and having to walk to the office I could have went to the gym for the same amount of time. Okay, I know this is not a great story of a Muni experience but it is a common one I know many of you experience. I also understand it is life and these things happen, but when they happen on almost a daily basis, it is okay to vent about it.
Until next time......

2 Cranky Gay men
We're 2 cranky gay men living in the wilds of San Francisco, CA. We're cranky because of Muni, because of people shoving others out of the way, for Prop 8 passing.. oh hell, we're just cranky. And this is our blog. We'll be talking about whatever makes us want to write that day.
